Our Story

DAVE RICARD AND HIS WIFE, ZANE, STARTED THEIR JOURNEY IN COEUR D’ALENE BACK IN 1977.

The seed of Dave’s plumbing career was planted during his time in the US Navy aboard an aircraft carrier in 1980. With an honorable discharge after completing his four-year term, Dave wasted no time and dove straight into his apprenticeship in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

In 1989, Dave proudly graduated from North Idaho College, completing his four-year Plumbing Apprenticeship.

Fueling his passion and drive, he obtained his Idaho Journeyman license in 1991, marking a significant milestone in his professional growth. It was in 1995 that Dave’s dedication and expertise shone brightly, as he acquired his Plumbing Contractors License.Dave’s commitment to refining his skills and expertise did not stop there. He dedicated countless hours honing his craft within the industry, continuously learning and adapting to the ever-evolving plumbing landscape. It was through this unwavering dedication that Dave’s vision came to fruition with the establishment of America NW Plumbing, Inc. in 2005.
